This project is designed to help people who want to find a job in Games.

Much of the content was originally put together in the form of articles for the Early Careers Resource Pack at www.amirsatvat.com, a completely free resource aimed at supporting game developers hit by layoffs, as well as those trying to get into Video Games.

The motivation exercise I put together with the help of many tools and training I myself have benefitted from over my career, it's pretty simple, but should be a good starting point.

I thought it would be accessible/interesting to this all into a Twine project, in the hopes that it helps at least one person somewhere.

If you want text based copies of the articles, please get in touch with me via LinkedIn or tim@writefinder.com or you can access them at www.amirsatvat.com through the Early Careers Resource Pack.

Currently this works on PC/Browser only.
EDIT: Apparently it's fine on mobile, it wasn't my intention but I'm delighted it allegedly works!

I intend to update this based on feedback and additional resources/info as they are created!

If you liked this, why not take a break and read my free interactive fiction "Escape! The Cryptdom!" which you can view on my itch page.

Thanks for reading.

A game I'd like to see get developed would be one where empathization is the goal. A game where people live up to their names. A game where happiness is the goal. A game where the goal is to find a job. | But ultimately, the goal is to design the game around a game developer's own life.

Thank you, Tim

Thank you for the feedback, would you find anything else in this type of medium helpful? I will be updating this as often as I am able :) - Tim
